Fees
Durham Health is a member of the Rural Canterbury Primary Healthcare Organisation (RCPHO). If you are an enrolled patient you are entitled to subsidised health care. We do see casual patients and visitors to our community, however they may not receive a subsidy and the fee charged will reflect this.
Accounts Policy
Our policy is that payment is required on the day of consultation unless prior arrangement is made.
If an account is approved then an administration fee of $5.00 will be added to the fee. This will be refunded if the account is paid in full within 10 working days.
Please feel free to discuss alternative methods of payment with the Practice Manager or Senior Receptionists . We welcome regular automatic payments if this assists your budgeting.
- Any debt not paid after three months will be referred to our collection agency.
- If debt collection costs are incurred these will be added to the patients account
- No credit will be offered to casual patients or those of no fixed abode.
