About me

Hi I’m Joanna,

I was born and bred in Christchurch and am glad to be back closer to home after spending some time in other parts of New Zealand.

I graduated from the University of Otago in 2017, and then spent several years working in Nelson Hospital, as well as a short period in Tauranga Hospital. I have since moved back to Christchurch with my husband Max who works at Christchurch Public Hospital.

I have a particular interest in women’s health, having completed a postgraduate certificate in Women’s Health in 2019. I’m also interested in caring for the health of older adults and children.

In my spare time our dog, cat and three chickens keep us busy, as well as a large garden and veggie patch. I welcome any gardening tips you may have!

I look forward to meeting you at Durham Health.
