Hi, I’m Terence.
You may have known me as one of the GPs at Durham Health for the last few years.
For a while, I’ve been improving my skills as a skin cancer specialist and now I have more formally transitioned into that role for the clinic considering the high rates of skin cancer in NZ.
Back in 2017, I completed the Advanced Clinical Certificate in Dermoscopy which helps significantly in the diagnosis of skin cancer.
In 2022, I completed the Advanced Clinical Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery. This has helped to expand my capabilities in addressing more complex lesions.
These qualifications mean that I am an accredited doctor with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia so you can have confidence that I have completed significant additional study and passed rigorous assessment in the management of skin cancer.
We also have a great tool in the form of Dermengine which allows us to do total body photography and digital monitoring of spots.
