About me
Hi I’m Calum,
I’m from a small island in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland, just south of Oban.
After initially completing a Master's degree in Osteopathy, I went onto study Medicine and graduated with Honours from the University of Aberdeen in 2020. During that time, I really enjoyed my rural placements in the Outer Hebrides and Shetland Islands.
After completing FY1/2 for NHS Scotland in Glasgow and Ayr, my wife and I have moved out to Aotearoa where we have spent two and a half years working in a busy Urgent Care centre in Whangārei. We made the move down to Canterbury with our dog in tow earlier this year and are very grateful to join the team at Durham Health.
In my spare time I enjoy all that the South Island has to offer with cycling, running, surfing, sailing and walking our dog on the beach.
I look forward to meeting you at Durham Health.
