Patient Survey
Our Goal
Our goal is to be involved in national surveys as organised by the Ministry of Health. These surveys provide us with anonymous feedback that is invaluable to us and ensures we are continually improving our service to you, our community.
As from 2016 these surveys are run several times a year and we receive thorough reports advising us of results and any comments made. The reports are too large to publish, however we shall be advising of the overall message and how we are adapting our services to meet the feedback.
Here are some improvements we've made over the years
In response to feedback we are aiming to create a more complete patient experience by having new allied health professionals come in to our new Durham Health building extension. Once the new building is completed we will have the following health services all under one roof; Rangiora Pharmacy, Pacific Radiology (x-ray and ultrasound), Active Health (physiotherapy and podiatry), Family Planning, Midwifery, Spirometry, and a Hand Therapist.
2018
Due to feedback we have begun daily drop in clinics for those patients who need to be seen on the day urgently. The clinics are run daily at 3pm.
September 2017
In response to feedback we are now developing an online appointment booking system. We hope to have this up and running ASAP
Feburary 2017
We have had numerous feedback requesting we communicate better at informing patient's when doctors are running late. Most patients realise the difficulty in doctors always keeping to time and the need for emergencys to take prioirty over routine booked appointments. However, and we agree we can certainly communicate this to patients who are waiting and keep everyone informed.
November 2016
In 2022 we redesigned the entire Durham health website to improve the user experience and make the site easier to navigate.
